  3. The Harting II font is a font with a full character set that mimics a 
  4. typewriter which has a ribbon that is running out of ink. (This version 
  5. straightens most of the more crooked letters of the original version) The 
  6. characters are monospaced, as on a typewriter, and at low resolutions (300 
  7. dpi or lower) the smaller sizes of the fonts will appear merely crooked or 
  8. a little jaggy, somewhat like a mimeograph; larger sizes or greater 
  9. resolutions will approach the look of a typewriter that needs a new 
  10. ribbon, as well.

  12. The Harting font (named for Julie Harting for no apparent reason) comes to 
  13. you from Insect Bytes, a place and space in time that considers fonts to 
  14. be things and that considers the weather to be an integral part of the 
  15. total experience.
